Just like any hobby, there are endless things that you “could” buy, to get started. Listed below are items that are extremely helpful to get started and a separate list that are just recommended.
Things to get you started
Bannenton Basket (round) to form and resting your classic loaves. You can choose round or oval. We do round loaves in class.
OR (Oval or Round depends on your Dutch oven) Also, you can use a smaller bowl and tea towel, instead of the banneton.

Kitchen Scale to weigh all ingredients.
When it comes to a dutch oven, you essentially want the same shape as the baskets that you have. So if you have round baskets, you need a round dutch oven. Below are options for both.

Combo Set includes banneton baskets, lame, brush, scrapers, dough whisk. This is optional but includes a few of the essentials.
